Apply a moisturizer on your nails. This helps them with the much required nourishment. Manicure regularly to keep nails free of dirt. Never cut close to the skin. Don’t touch bathroom cleaners or other acidic substances with bare hands. If you’re used to chewing your nails, you’re likely to do permanent damage to them. Keep your nails short and use a good nail polish remover. Wipe dry with cotton. If you have pain on the inside of your nails or a swelling under your nail doesn’t subside in a few days, see a doctor.
