Production of acid from bacterial plaque occurs significantly during the first 20 minutes of eating or snacking. That’s why you must rinse your mouth thoroughly after every meal or snack. Don’t brush rigorously as it damages the tooth surfaces. Change your brush every two months for better cleansing of food particles. Brush up and down and even the insides of your teeth. More importantly, brush your tongue to prevent formation of bacteria. Brush twice a day for better dental care.
